    Overview

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Forms Analyst is responsible for working with management and the business to implement and maintain controls in accordance with CFPB guidelines and other regulatory, state and federal guidelines within required timeframes. The Analyst acts as the centralized point of contact for the Lines of Business regarding the management and version control of customer facing forms, letters and templates. The position interfaces regularly with Legal, Compliance and Marketing Departments regarding the development and revision of consumer Forms. Responsible for production controls as such as testing, validation, and change approvals.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work with Legal, Compliance and Marketing on development and approval of Forms
    • Work with Lines of Business to develop, amend and implement customer-facing Forms
    • Validate Form samples to ensure all key data fields are accurate and pulling from the correct sources; confer with business units as needed to direct resolution of irregularities
    • Work with Business Units, IT and Business Solutions to design, establish and maintain a repository of all customer-facing forms
    • Work with Legal and Compliance to implement and validate Form verbiage regarding regulatory changes.
    • Use judgment to identify variances in tone and presentation of letters to ensure a consistent voice throughout all customer-facing Forms
    • Work with IT, Lines of Business, and Business Solutions to ensure accurate programming of Forms
    • Advise and instruct business unit on testing and validate BU test results to ensure quality control prior to production
    • Oversee version control practices to maintain approved changes
    • Perform random seed mail testing to ensure Forms in production are as expected
    • Ensure third party service providers produce Forms accurately and consistently by utilizing sample-testing methods
    • Work with various auditors to fulfill requests as necessary (Investor, Federal and State Exams/Findings, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Compliance and Internal Audit). Provide necessary documents / versions within applicable audit periods
    • Provide consultation to new business contacts on the review, approval processes and control points.
    • Provide consultation to Lines of Business regarding methods to implement requested changes to Forms.
    • Responsible for writing submissions for approval to Servicing Change Management Committee
    • Administer re-certification process
    • Analyze large datasets to identify Forms in production
    • Analyze and present datasets at meetings and discussions for management.
    • Manage database for tracking all Form requests, changes, versions, tests, and approvals regarding Forms.
    • Assist in various projects as requested.

    Qualifications

    ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    • MSP knowledge/experience preferred.
    • Must be highly disciplined, organized and detail-oriented
    • Ability to work in chaotic, fast moving environment with quick response times, keeping pace with the business, addressing time-sensitive client demands
    • Very strong work ethic; roll-up the sleeves attitude
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to clearly convey ideas
    • Project coordination skills
    • Ability to interface and work well with all levels of management, peers and other departments; must be collaborative.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    • High School Diploma required
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • 2 (+) years in the mortgage industry with servicing knowledge
    • Understanding of compliance and regulations
    • Systems/business analysis exposure desired

     

     

    MACHINES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE:

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, Word, Power point, Visio, etc.) in the creation of spreadsheets, databases and various word processing formats and document templates.
