    The Business Support of Loan Administration and Cash Management is responsible for process improvement of payment processing, disbursement and reconciliation units within the Loan Administration cash management department. This position interacts daily with multiple departments within the organization including Collections, Loss Mitigation, and Default management, as well as accounting and vendor representatives.



    • Work on projects in Cash Management, Special Loans, Investor Reporting, and Financial Transactions Control.
    • Maintain and deliver a high level of productivity, efficiency and accuracy
    • Maintain department policies and procedures (P&P) for cash functions
    • Work with department supervisors and personnel to ensure that all functions in the cash management department are completed in a timely manner and according to policies and procedures
    • Monitor the department’s productivity to ensure that standards are met
    • Work on process improvement in processing mortgage loan payments, liquidation and payoffs, and disbursements in accordance with applicable Agency guidelines and internal procedures
    • Assists in effectively managing payment processing vendors to achieve optimal efficiency and control
    • Helps to oversee daily reconciliation and controls over Payment Clearing Account, posting batches, and MSP System Balancing
    • G/L posting transactions
    • Manage MSP disbursements processing, as assigned
    • Review and research exception or rejected payments
    • Prepare daily accounting and internal reports or forms
    • Work with corporate accounting personnel to ensure efficient flow of operations and achieve highest levels of accuracy and quality
    • Perform all other duties as needed





    • Has knowledge of commonly used terminology, concepts, practices, and procedures within the mortgage industry.
    • In depth knowledge of MSP, with at least 3 years of recent experience working with MSP
    • Mortgage loan servicing experience is required
    • Mortgage cash operations management experience required
    • Must have previous management/supervisory experience.
    • Experience in process management, bank account reconciliation, and / or organizational development preferred.
    • Ability to meet time deadlines while working under pressure
    • Handle simultaneous tasks and projects in a fast paced environment
    • Good business writing skills
    • Excellent business math skills
    • Excellent follow-up skills
    • Strong computer skills



    • High School Diploma required
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • Five (+) years of related experience




    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
    • Standard office equipment
    • Check processing equipment
