    Overview

     

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The SVP, Private Label Servicing is responsible for building out the Private Label Servicing business line, day-to-day management of dedicated private label servicing units, coordinating with clients and internal servicing functions to achieve a seamless integration of Private Label subserviced loan portfolios. Provide an exemplary level of service to clients and business units related to Private Label Servicing.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide senior-level leadership to develop a private label servicing business line within Rushmore.
    • Lead the buildout of the Private Label Servicing Business in coordination with Business Development, Client Relations, and Servicing Operations. Design and implement organizational charts, staffing plans, and process flows.
    • Manage operation to business P&L and margin objectives; work with senior management to ensure business economic and strategic objectives are met.
    • Effectively manage the Private Label Servicing team through the start-up phase, as well as the ongoing servicing operations teams dedicated to private label.
    • Assist with business development and client sourcing; oversee and manage ongoing Private Label Servicing client relationships from a loan servicing perspective
    • Deliver presentations to high profile investors looking to invest in the company, aiding in maximizing revenue potential
    • Research and resolve issues as well as disputes
    • Train and mentor direct reports in meeting objectives and exceeding performance targets
    • Drive change throughout the organization supporting organization initiatives
    • Establish and maintain working partnerships with the business units supported and provide a superior level of customer service consistent with the organizations business model
    • Monitor and manage staffing needs and skills, anticipating volume growth and business needs
    • Assist Legal, Finance and Operations on Servicing Agreements
    • On-Board new clients once program is developed
    • Coordinate with prospective clients, acquisitions team, and other servicing functions to effect the day to day servicing of loans
    • Monitor performance of Private Label Servicing pools to ensure Agreed SLA’s are met and errors are minimized
    • Maintain constant, constructive communications with clients and proactively work to resolve real and potential issues and provide superior levels of customer service
    • Prepare internal reporting such as tracking Client updates, creating scorecard templates and KPIs, and manage new reporting needs to increase departmental productivity.
    • Ensure effective on-boarding of new clients and first-time transfers including system demos onsite or WebEx, Collateral/Custodian arrangements, reporting requirements/data feed, assisting with new loan boarding audit, and other activities that relate to asset transfers
    • Project Management (planning, implementation and execution)
    • Special projects are assigned by Senior Management including coordination of ongoing surveillance reports, due diligence and similar examination-type activities
    • All other duties as needed

     

     

     

    Qualifications

    ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    • 15 + years relevant experience in residential mortgage servicing with a focus on Private Label Servicing
    • 10 + years in people management role
    • Related experience in MSP system is required
    • Proven ability to forge solid relationships with strategic partners and build consensus across multiple organizational levels
    • Accomplished professional with diverse experience in mortgage, banking, and financial services
    • Adept in leading teams, surpassing objectives, driving revenue growth, and improving retention
    • Project management experience, including both management and participation responsibilities for planning, testing, documentation, training and implementation
    • Problem solving skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel, proposing and accepting compromises for issue resolution
    • Superior oral and written communication skills
    • Strong analytical and data skills, including planning, budgeting and monitoring operations
    • Ownership, integrity, strong customer service orientation, negotiation and sales skills
    • Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment
    • Excellent time management, organizational and overall project management skills
    • Must display strong interpersonal skills
    • Self-motivated and works with minimal supervision

     

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s Degree required
    • Master’s Degree preferred
    • Expert presenter, negotiator, and businessperson
    • Broad knowledge base related to CFPB
    • Committed to maintaining full regulatory compliance
    • Prior responsibility for developing and implementing department level policies and procedures, as well as the quality control practices to ensure procedures are followed
    • Ability to create, document and present ideas for an executive level audience
    • Experience with identifying operational risks and developing the appropriate mitigating controls, including the ongoing monitoring of the effectiveness of the documented controls
    • Accomplished communication skills
    • Aptitude for understanding and managing system functionality and the related ongoing maintenance, development and upgrade processes
    • Experience servicing FHA, VA and GSE is a plus

     

     

     

    MACHINES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE:

    • Experience working with LPS/ MSP system preferred
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (advanced knowledge of Excel and Access)
