    Overview

     

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The SVP, Servicing Acquisitions & Solutions is responsible for leading the Loan Boarding and Loan Boarding Audit team and the Business Solutions team (including MSP Administration) to achieve optimal levels of data integrity and usage of the MSP system.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide senior-level leadership to further develop scalable loan boarding and service release activities, ensure data integrity within the MSP environment, and optimize usage of MSP through effective administration of system and enhancements
    • Lead loan boarding team through transformation to LoanSphere Loan Boarding and build scalable processes and supporting systems to support high levels of growth
    • Maximize effectiveness of the Loan Boarding Audit function to improve cost-benefit, and ensure optimal levels of data integrity as loans are boarded.
    • Manage the Business Solutions / MSP Administration team to ensure maximum level of controls and to support the servicing operation through MSP assistance, research, fixes and enhancements
    • Train and mentor direct reports in meeting objectives and exceeding performance targets
    • Drive change throughout the organization by supporting organization initiatives with a focus on incoming transfers
    • Establish and maintain working partnerships with the business units supported and provide a superior level of customer service consistent with the organizations business model
    • Monitor and manage staffing needs and skills, anticipating volume growth and business needs
    • Assist Legal, Finance and Operations on Servicing Agreements
    • Coordinate with prospective clients, acquisitions team, and other servicing functions to effect efficient and accurate transfers of servicing
    • Maintain constant, constructive communications with clients and other business units, and proactively work to resolve real and potential issues and provide superior levels of customer service
    • Prepare internal reporting such as creating scorecard templates and KPIs, and manage new reporting needs to increase departmental productivity.
    • Special projects are assigned by Senior Management including coordination of ongoing surveillance reports, due diligence and similar examination-type activities
    • All other duties as needed

     

     

     

    Qualifications

    ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    • 15 + years relevant experience in residential mortgage servicing with a focus on loan boarding, MSP administration and technology.
    • 10 + years of people management
    • Related experience in MSP system is required
    • Proven ability to forge solid relationships with strategic partners and build consensus across multiple organizational levels
    • Accomplished professional with diverse experience in mortgage, banking, and financial services
    • Adept in leading teams, surpassing objectives, driving revenue growth, and improving retention
    • Project management experience, including both management and participation responsibilities for planning, testing, documentation, training and implementation
    • Problem solving skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel, proposing and accepting compromises for issue resolution
    • Superior oral and written communication skills
    • Strong analytical and data skills, including planning, budgeting and monitoring operations
    • Ownership, integrity, strong customer service orientation, negotiation and sales skills
    • Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment
    • Excellent time management, organizational and overall project management skills
    • Must display strong interpersonal skills
    • Self-motivated and works with minimal supervision

     

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s Degree required
    • Master Degree preferred
    • Expert presenter, negotiator, and businessperson
    • Broad knowledge base related to CFPB
    • Committed to maintaining full regulatory compliance
    • Prior responsibility for developing and implementing department level policies and procedures, as well as the quality control practices to ensure procedures are followed
    • Ability to create, document and present ideas for an executive level audience
    • Experience with identifying operational risks and developing the appropriate mitigating controls, including the ongoing monitoring of the effectiveness of the documented controls
    • Accomplished communication skills
    • Aptitude for understanding and managing system functionality and the related ongoing maintenance, development and upgrade processes

     

    MACHINES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE:

    • Experience working with LPS/ MSP system preferred
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (advanced knowledge of Excel and Access)
