    The Facilities Technician position is responsible for enforcing all functions that take place within the Facilities Department. In addition to focusing on the maintenance of the company's buildings and surrounding grounds, the Facilities Technician will also ensure the working environment is adequate for employees.



    • Oversee the building's cleaning, maintenance, and safety during normal business hours.
    • Document and perform assessment of reported problems then notify Facilities AVP to discuss solution.
    • Oversee work performed by contractor’s meets standards and specifications.
    • Perform audits to support facility planning.
    • Assists with departmental and employee moves.
    • Performs general handyman services.
    • Oversee and manage maintenance personnel and workers engaged in equipment installation, facilities equipment repair and preventive maintenance.
    • Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Facilities AVP.
    • Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machinery and office space as required.
    • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
    • Inventory and stock first aid and kitchen supplies. Requisition when levels reach minimum levels.
    • Perform mail services functions, including but not limited to: processing of incoming/outgoing mail, FedEx, certified mail, scanning, tracking, packaging, shipping, posting and related logs, spreadsheets, reports.
    • Reception relief as needed.
    • Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required.
    • Provide necessary training to the members of the staff.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.




    • Experience establishing efficient and cost effective solutions.
    • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
    • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.  Must be able to communicate effectively in both languages verbally and in writing.
    • Excellent at critical thinking, operations analysis, decision making and complex problem solving.
    • Must show good judgment on a daily basis.
    • Ability to prioritize and organize.
    • Keep positive, service-oriented mindset.
    • Bilingual



    • High School Diploma required.
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
    • 3+ years of related experienced in a maintenance environment required.
