    Overview

     

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Part Time Customer Service Representative is responsible for assisting customer’s with general inquiries, initial complaints, and counseling borrowers on past due payments.

     

    Flexible schedule working 5 - 6 hours per day, no more than 30 hours per week. Preferred schedule of Mondays and Fridays, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and possible Saturdays based on business needs. Peak coverage days are also on the 1st, 15th, 16th and the last day of every month.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITI

    • Perform welcome calls on newly acquired loans.
    • Handle inbound and outbound calls within the Predictive Dialer.
    • Counsel customers with delinquent mortgage payments through a process of telephone contact to bring the loan to a current status.
    • Document and update information in Fidelity MSP.
    • Maintain compliance with all FDCPA, ECOA, privacy and relevant state regulations.
    • Conduct light skip tracing to locate borrowers.
    • Assist borrowers with general inquires
    • Processing routine transactions promise to pay, internet assistance, ACH
    • Assist customers with general inquiries regarding: Insurance, Taxes and Escrow
    • Performs all other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    • Excellent customer service phone skills
    • Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal relationship skills
    • Ability to multi-task  
    • Demonstrate dependability
    • Ability to learn quickly

     

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    • High School diploma required
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • Mortgage Servicing experience a plus
    • Previous customer services a plus
    • Bilingual a plus

     

    MACHINES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE:

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
