    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Business Analyst - Escrow will provide support to the Hazard, Flood, Tax, MIP/PMI departments and must work closely with managers to analyze activities and streamline processes. Create and produce pertinent QA reporting and management reporting.

    Responsibilities

     

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist in the design and implementation of reporting for day to day quality review of all processing functions for mortgage insurance, hazard insurance, real estate tax, and escrow analysis.
    • Assist in design and implementation of reporting for the evaluation of outsourcing vendor’s performance and make recommendations for improvement.
    • Participate in the planning, evaluation and implementation of changes to improve work performance and efficiencies.
    • Create and analyze ad hoc reporting. Identify trends and perform root cause analysis.
    • Maintenance of required management reports, including daily, weekly and monthly production, quality controls and vendor scorecards.
    • Assist with all regulatory and compliance reviews and audits.
    • Analyzes and creates internal operational reports and assesses productivity, quality of work, process workflow functionality and make recommendation for process improvement.
    • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

     

    Qualifications

     

     

    ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
    • Effective and decisive decision making skills and sound judgment are essential.
    • Solid experience with LPS/MSP Servicing System (functionality and reports).
    • Knowledge of mortgage servicing regulatory requirements.
    • Excellent analytical / interpersonal / written and oral communication skills.
    • Process and Project management skills
    • Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
    • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

      

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    • High School Diploma required.
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred (in a related field of study desired).
    • 5+ years of experience in mortgage loan servicing industry.
    • 3+ years’ experience in escrow or insurance role in a mortgage servicing environment.
    • Knowledge and Experience with annual examinations USAP, REG AB, and State Examiners.
    • Extensive hands on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
    • Visual Basic preferred.
    • MS Access preferred.
    • SQL Plus preferred. 

     

    MACHINES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE:

    • General office equipment to include PC, Fax machine, copier, scanning and imaging equipment
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
    • Advanced Excel must
