    The GNMA Manager, Property Preservation oversees and monitors key workflow processes within the REO department in accordance with established work rules essential to meeting goals and objectives. Ensures that productivity standards, client expectations and company policies are followed in order to enhance timeline performance.



    • Oversee daily work activities of direct reports to ensure all activities of property preservation are completed within the department, company, client, state and investor guidelines.
    • Manage team members to achieve company, business unit and team goals and by providing appropriate coaching, development, training, goal setting and encouraging open communication.
    • Identify and examine business and regulatory drivers and trends and as well as the development and execution of strategic plans to ensure control points, workflow, and cost management, are executed in adherence to or in alignment with company objectives.
    • Creates, revises and implements organizational structure changes, system enhancements, policies, procedures and workflows to support departmental and company objectives as determined and as needed in collaboration with company peers and senior management.
    • Keep VP informed of all trends and problems including, but not limited to preservation work denials/curtailments, avoidable losses, and compliance problems that will create an "out of compliance" condition or expose RLMS or its investors to any risk of exposure or liability.
    • Creates, revises and implements organizational structure changes, systems enhances,policies, procedures and work flows to support departmental and company objectives as determined and as needed in collaboration with senior management.
    • Works collaboratively with other Supervisors and Managers cross-functionally to manage change and to create effective procedures to best service the needs of the department, Investor and the company.
    • Manage the Investor/Client/Rushmore relationship to ensure expectations are met: respond to investor and/or client questions, timely follow up, ensure data transmission and system integrity, review/create reports to ensure timely submission and requirements are met for investor and management, mitigate and minimize impact and participate in conference calls.
    • Lead individual, weekly and monthly one-on-ones and conference calls with staff, vendors, and/or peers to present progress and to discuss portfolio performance or key department initiatives, including vendor scorecard performance and personnel performance standards.
    • Performs special assignments/projects as assigned.



    • Strategic thinker, with skillful operational foresight.
    • Expert level in dealing with investor and insurer regulations (HUD, FHA, VA, etc.).
    • Excellent conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Strong organization and communication skills; must clearly communicate issues and resolutions to customer/clients, other departments and senior management.
    • Ability to manage priorities and workflow in a high-volume environment.
    • Ability to make decisions independently within set policy and procedures.
    • Strong leader with ability to delegate, motivate, hire and evaluate the work of staff.



    • High School Diploma required.
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Knowledge of mortgage servicing industry with special emphasis on default-related issues.
    • Five (+) years of Mortgage Banking experience, with extensive knowledge of Default operations and processes for all states.
    • Five (+) year’s supervisory experience required.
    • Profit and Loss and budget planning experience preferred.



    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
    • Familiar with LPS desktop, RESNET, RUSHMAR and MSP workstations.
