    Overview

     

    POSITION SUMMARY: The Records Management Coordinator works with all operational departments within the organization to fulfill image and file transfers from prior servicers and with service release to new servicers along with records requests from internal business units, conducts research and scans new documents into the imaging system.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manages user record requests to ensure fulfillment in appropriate timeframes
    • Maintains record request tracking reports
    • Fulfills user record requests, including records research, and image extracts
    • Prepares and scans document for import into the imaging system
    • Performs preventive maintenance on Kodak scanners
    • Receives and maintains records of images and documents received
    • Coordinates transfers of images from prior servicers and to new servicers
    • Prepares and ships documents to off-site storage, retrieves documents from storage, and maintains off-site storage records
    • Performs other tasks as assigned by management
    • Maintains confidentiality of all organizational records
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    • One (+) of experience in mortgage industry, with knowledge of all mortgage file documents
    • Document scanning experience preferred
    • PC proficiency and acumen Skills
    • Detail orientation with strong organization skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Uses sound judgment to identify issues and to escalate when appropriate
    • Effective independent worker and team member

     

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • High School Diploma required

     

    MACHINES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE:

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
    • Working knowledge of MERS, LPS desktop and MSP - Preferred
