    The Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for processing assigned MSP research tasks that are routine and/or repetitive for both internal and external clients. This position requires the application of procedures along with various business unit products and applications in order to accurately resolve, research, and document requests related to newly acquired loans.



    • Interact with prior servicers and internal personnel to complete research and receive required information
    • Document MSP and respond to all internal and external research requests with the status or outcome of research performed
    • Ensure acquisitions/service release inbox requests and issues are addressed timely.
    • Ensure research requests are handled in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Process internal and external task requests for both service releases and acquired transfers.
    • Provide summary of task issues as well as trending reports.
    • Read and interpret payment histories in order to respond to inquiries and research requests
    • Successfully navigate and locate documents in servicing transfer folders and imaging system.
    • Assists other areas of Loan Administration - Acquisitions as needed.
    • Perform and complete all tasks assigned by supervisor

    • Strong overall analytical and technical abilities.
    • Well versed with regulatory and investor guidelines and keeps current with all Federal, State, industry specific and departmental policies.



    • High school diploma required
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • Three (+) years of experience in mortgage or in a related area
    • Has knowledge of commonly used terminology, mortgage documents, concepts, practices, and procedures within the mortgage industry



    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
    • Intermediate working knowledge of the MSP/LPS system is required
    • Experience with Windows-based PCs, including general office software knowledge required
