    Overview

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Valuation Coordinator is responsible for processing functions related to valuation orders and fulfillment of the orders for RLMS servicing operations.  

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Process new valuation requests as needed for the following: investor updates, task/event driven BPO orders and FC BPO ordering
    • Processing and ordering of appraisals (FHA and VA) as needed by various internal clients
    • Handling correspondence and requests from internal clients and vendors   
    • Locating and providing documents for internal use and for outside valuation service providers.
    • Daily monitoring and follow up on outstanding and past due orders  
    • Following up with property preservation vendors or Loss Mitigation Account Resolution Specialists (ARSs) to cure access issues
    • Assist in updating and development of department policies and procedures as it relates to BPO ordering and processing 
    • Assisting with bulk loading of investor values at time of transfer    
    • Special projects and tasks as needed
    • All other duties as needed 

    Qualifications

    ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    • Demonstrate sound judgment and decision making
    • Self-motivation required for accomplishing goal/project oriented work with minimal supervision
    • Ability to effectively interact and communicate with management, peers, and third party vendors
    • Capable to work, anticipate, and adopt tactics in a changing business environment with multiple priorities
    • Able to work additional hours with short notice to meet deadlines
    • Ability to handle fast-paced, multi –tasked projects
    • Ability to handle stressful situations

     

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    • High School Diploma required
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • Industry experience preferred

     

     

    MACHINES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE:

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
    • Proficient with spreadsheet and database software/applications
    • Understands Internet, Intranet and client/server data sites
