    POSITION SUMMARY:

     

    The Team Lead for Bankruptcy and/or Foreclosure will monitor and guide the work activity of assigned team members to ensure productivity standards, client expectations, and company policies are followed. Team Lead will also be assigned high risk accounts and investor direct requests to resolve.   In periods of fluctuating volumes Team Lead may be assigned account workloads to assist in the transition period.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Oversee daily work activities of assigned team.
    • Work with management in maintaining departmental procedures and training manuals.
    • Produce and distribute on a regular basis approved metric performance reporting to the assigned team members.
    • Assist in the implementation of updates necessary to LPS Desktop workstation along with MSP.
    • Coordinate and complete as necessary audits on acquisition loans.
    • Reviews exception reports and address as necessary with assigned specialist or escalate to management aged unresolved events.
    • Review and provide primary or secondary approval on documents as outlined in the delegated authority matrix approved by corporate or as assigned by functional area.
    • Solution complex matters with specialist and provide recommendations to management.
    • Handle either directly or as approved indirectly, Investor generated queries and research in investor expected turnaround timeframes.
    • Monitor progress on key milestone events within assigned function such as eligible Motions for Relief, Plan Reviews,(BK) or Bidding submissions (FC) and Referrals (both areas).
    • Ensure cash and adverse actions are handled timely and notifications to investors occur on risk related events such as cramdown (BK) and loss of lien (FC) and that account handling triggers are managed closely (e.g. closing out workstations)
    • Generate and foster partnerships with dependent functional areas and streamline process handoffs with Change Management engagement.
    • Demonstrate professional behavior and teamwork, is punctual, dependable and adheres to company policies and procedures.
    • As business needs require, Team Leads may have a portfolio of assigned loans and must manage the day to day activities in compliance with State, regulatory, Investor and Department standards.
    • Schedules and participates in conference calls with investors and Attorneys and provide updates on assigned cases.
    • As directed by Legal and Compliance, will be appointed Assistant Secretary and required to audit and execute documents in accordance with internal policy and procedures on behalf of Rushmore and Investors.
    • Assist Management in coaching, yearly reviews and goal preparation
    • Handle all other tasks or duties assigned by management.

    Qualifications

    ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong math and analytical skills.
    • Detail oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks for efficiency.
    • Ability to multi task and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
    • Strong negotiation skills with ability to resolve conflict and resolve problems effectively
    • Ability to make decisions independently within set policy and procedures.
    • Ability to manage priorities and workflow in a high-volume environment
    • Position also requires knowledge of investor guidelines including FHA, VA, FNMA, FHLMC and   GNMA
    • Experience in a high growth, fast paced environment
    • Strong leader with ability to delegate, motivate, hire and evaluate the work of staff

     

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

     

    • High School Diploma required
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • Minimum seven years mortgage servicing experience, strong knowledge of the types of bankruptcy and expertise in how bankruptcy affects a mortgage loan. Minimum three years’ experience in bankruptcy.
    • 2+ years Bankruptcy, Mortgage Servicing or Accounting experience;
    • Minimum of 1+ years of supervisory experience required
