    Overview

     

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The College Recruiter is responsible for promoting the company brand across university and veteran communities while maintaining excellent relationships with candidates, faculty, career center staff and office personnel involved in the recruiting process.  

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop and execute annual recruiting plan for target candidates: college and veterans
    • Plan/coordinate and attend campus and military recruiting events such as career fairs, student organization meetings, campus interviews, networking events, mock interviews, resume review sessions, etc.
    • Engage executives and alumni in campus visits to increase RLMS visibility
    • Effectively source candidates from targeted universities
    • Attend events on local bases and military targeted hiring events
    • Partner with Veteran agencies to place veterans in jobs
    • Develop relationships with and serve as primary point of contact for candidates through the full recruiting cycle
    • Screen candidates through personal interaction, resume review and interviews
    • Coordinate with offices to plan and execute office interview process; participate in office interview events, tours, etc.
    • Manage ATS; maintain accurate and organized documentation on all candidates and candidate interactions
    • Coordinate internship programs and employee onboarding processes as needed 
    • Participate in development and execution of national recruiting activities as needed
    • Effectively source and screen candidates through online sources (LinkedIn), personal interaction, resume review and interviews
    • Consult with hiring managers and others to develop job descriptions, understand candidate profile, and set expectations
    • Develop relationships with and serve as primary point of contact for candidates through hire date
    • Coordinate interview process with applicable hiring managers
    • Posting of job opening on university website
    • Recruit for non-specialty roles as needed
    • Soliciting referrals
    • Maintain fluid candidate pipelines
      • Following up 3 months prior to Spring/Summer/Fall graduation dates
    • Travel required
    • All other duties as needed

    Qualifications

    ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    • Knowledge of the fundamentals of recruiting from start to finish
    • Ability to work in a face-paced, evolving environment
    • Establish and maintain relationships with key level executives
    • Ability to multitask, be highly organized and detail oriented
    • Strong written/verbal communication skills with polished ability to articulate business ideas
    • Desire for personal and professional development with high receptivity to feedback and guidance
    • Ability to influence and implement change across departmental boundaries
    • Strong customer focus, and the ability to managing both client and candidate relationships
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Bilingual a plus

     

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor's Degree required
    • Four plus years of experience as a full life-cycle corporate recruiter with emphasis on college and military

     

    MACHINES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE:

    • Taleo, Jobvite, iCims or related applicant tracking experience
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
    • Experience with Windows-based software.
