    Overview

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Fraud Review Specialist is responsible for the daily review of HELOC advance checks and transactions along with additional audit and reconciliation task.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Review of customer convenience checks and ACH transactions on open credit lines
    • Review and audit of any required investor reporting
    • Audit and correction of newly acquired HELOC loans from Acquisitions.
    • Identifying any potential fraudulent transactions on line advances
    • Remittance and reconciliation of HELOC advance activities to the designated deposit accounts
    • Perform other duties as assigned or required

    Qualifications

    ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    • Strong analytical and resolution skills.
    • Assertive and able to make decisions independently
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Detail orientation with strong organizational skills.
    • Working knowledge of basic Mortgage Documents

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    • High school diploma or GED required
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • Three (+) years, but preferably 5-7 years’ experiences in a mortgage loan servicing position with an expert level understanding of HELOC loans.

     

    MACHINES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE:

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
    • Working knowledge of MSP preferred
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
