    Overview

     

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The MSP Administrator is responsible for the overall successful administration of LPS, MSP, and passport systems.

     

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for completing data mapping for the loan boarding process and conversion process.
    • Reviews and ensures accuracy of data prior to conversion.
    • Operates the ELI application, including uploading associated applications.
    • Reviews and analyzes the report on LPS systems support tickets to ensure that all submitted requests are responded within established service level agreements.
    • Ensures that all service requests are resolved and that completion timeframes going beyond service level agreements are communicated with the requestor.
    • Communicates any day-to-day operational issues with LPS arising from the different functional areas of servicing.
    • Administration of security for LPS, MSP and Passport
    • Create/request Passport queries.
    • Distribution of all LPS reports daily
    • Assist users with interpretation of reports and system functions.
    • Organize, facilitate and channel information between the I.T. Department and Loan Servicing.
    • Coordinate and ensure completion of seasonal projects directly related to servicing operations.
    • Responsible for various complex analytical functions within a business unit related to data management, system administration, process improvement and enhanced automation.
    • Responsible for all MSP report generation, daily ODDS transmissions, EOD processing and Go BOOK functions, monitoring of outbound EDI transmissions
    • Responsible to ensure implementation of projects that meet business units needs
    • Maintain existing director scripts and help create new director scripts
    • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

     

     

    Qualifications

    ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    • Effective decision making skills and sound judgment
    • Excellent analytical / interpersonal / written and oral communication skills
    • Strong organizational and follow-through skills
    • Ability to prioritize and meet close deadlines
    • Director script writing skills
    • Ability to operate under dual reporting relationship (IT, business unit management)

     

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    • High School Diploma required
    • Bachelor Degree in Information Systems or the equivalent in a related field of study preferred
    • Graduate Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field of study is highly desired
    • Five plus years of mortgage industry related experience or specific training unique to the position

     

     

    MACHINES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE:

    • Solid experience with Alltel/CPI Servicing System, Eastern Empower LOS
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Project and PowerPoint)
    • Knowledge of SQL, Crystal Reports or other reporting software desired.
    • Experience with Windows-based software
