    The Senior Vendor Management Analyst is responsible for performing vendor related monitoring, reporting and analytical functions in relation to performance and risk. The position is responsible for supporting the Vendor Management Department, business operations and the business channel vendors assigned.



    • Manage contract negotiations
    • Oversee the coordination and execution of vendor deliverables
    • Establish and maintain reports and metrics
    • Ensure the design, update and implementation of programs, policies, processes, and procedures which enhance reputational, financial, and operational risk mitigation and/or revenue generation
    • Participate and facilitate Third Party Performance Review meetings with Third Party and internal stakeholders, taking all meeting minutes and managing any follow up activities relevant to Third Party Performance. In the event of a Third Party performance issue, additional Third Party Improvement plans or exit activities will be required.
    • Proactively develop, collaborate with appropriate stakeholders, vet, effectively communicate, and execute agreed upon strategies which accomplish the highest priorities of the team
    • Oversee all aspects of day-to-day vendor management activities
    • Upload and record all contracts and related documents in the VMO
    • Manage the escalation of high risk Third Party incidents or perpetual performance failures to the appropriate executive levels and or executive committees
    • Track, measure, report and evaluate vendor performance
    • Identify improvement areas and implement solutions and/or recommend solutions
    • Act as the subject matter expert and single point of contact for Business Channel(s) supported
    • Work with outsourced solutions to provide best in class customer service and risk evaluations
    • Develop, prepare and monitor vendor scorecards
    • Manage a rigorous schedule of third party assessments (including initial drafts, in partnership with contract managers) and ensure a summary opinion regarding the nature of third party performance is rendered and supported, along with the identification of any critical third party risk issues.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, rules, policies and procedures
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management



    • Experience and poise negotiating complex and dynamic Master Service Agreements and Statements of Work with strict enforceable terms and conditions and service level agreements

    • Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly in writing and orally

    • Discretion and diplomacy when dealing with sensitive issues
    • Experience managing complex and dynamic Third Party relationships internally and externally



    • BS/BA preferred (preferably in economics, business administration, accounting, technology, or finance).
    • High School Diploma required
    • 6+ years of equivalent experience
    • Previous mortgage or financial industry experience required



    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
    • Email and Internet applications.
    • Knowledge of VendorRisk platform preferred
    • Ellie Mae Encompass and/or MSP experience a plus
