    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The AVP of Loan Administration and Escrow is responsible for developing and managing the Loan Administration department for Rushmore Loan Management Services LLC. The AVP of Loan Administration will manage multiple functions within the loan servicing platform including: Escrow Analysis, Insurance, Tax, and Hazard Claims & Loss Draft. This position will work closely with the all departments within the company, particularly Servicing Analytics, Customer Care, Collections and Default Management. Perform all duties in accordance with Rushmore policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations.           

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage people, process, systems; lead a multisite team, including vendors and offshore service providers
    • Manage daily process with tax and insurance vendors to maximize quality, productivity and compliance.
    • Ensure minimal amount of loss exposures
    • Ensure client needs are met, including customer/borrower needs, provide superior customer service
    • Ensure compliance with state and federal agencies, regulatory bodies etc.
    • Run effective and efficient processes, plan capacity to avoid backlogs, ensure optimal production
    • Ensure full implementation of KPI’s and other process control techniques to provide highest level of control, quality and productivity
    • Provide multiple levels of training and mentoring to the Loan Administration team
    • Provide backup support to include all job functions within loan administration
    • Coach, counsel and manage several managers/supervisors who oversee different aspects of the department
    • Perform other duties as assigned or required

     

     

    Qualifications

    ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    • Excellent verbal and written skills, including ability to write clearly, concisely, and logically
    • Very strong organizational, deductive reasoning and analytical skills
    • Process improvement planning and implementation skills
    • Strong knowledge of Federal and state laws applicable to mortgage servicing, including licensing
    • Research skills and technical understanding of loan servicing
    • Ability to work well with all levels of management and staff
    • Ability to set goals and meet deadlines
    • Ability to supervise staff
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, results-oriented environment

     

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business Management, Finance, other relevant coursework, or equivalent training and work experience.
    • High School Diploma required.
    • Requires 5+ years’ experience with MSP, in depth knowledge of loan administration utilizing MSP
    • Requires 5+ years management role experience
    • Requires 7+ years’ experience in the mortgage loan servicing industry in a loan administration management or equivalent role.

     

     

    MACHINES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE:

    • PC computer with Windows operating system, facsimile, photocopier
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
    • Proficiency in MSP, subject matter expert preferred
    • Familiarity and working knowledge of databases and corporate loan servicing systems
