    POSITION SUMMARY:

     

    The Service Release Coordinator will perform multiple functions within the service release workstation. Areas of focus will include but not limited to hosting conference calls and facilitating transfer of data to acquiring servicer. Performance of all duties must be in accordance with Rushmore policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations.         

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Coordinate delivery, set up and research of servicing transfers.
    • Analyze practices and procedures of servicers to ensure a smooth transfer process
    • Reconcile funding schedule to servicing transfer reports
    • Primary point of contact for Rushmore business units, servicers, vendors and investors
    • Research and resolve variances in loan data prior to and after release of loans
    • Reconcile balances prior to release of funds to servicer. adjustments on
    • Utilize secured site for transmission of loan data
    • Create and maintain policy and procedure
    • Maintain service release inbox and oversee the shipment of documents
    • Schedule, update and pull system generated release reports
    • Create and maintain passport service release queries and build passport trans
    • Update service release checklists and management reports
    • Works directly with target audiences and subject matter experts to determine needs, establish tasks and milestones and acquire relevant information to produce and deliver communication, policies and procedures
    • Ensures regulatory guidelines are met
    • Perform other duties as required

    Qualifications

    ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    • Excellent verbal and written skills, including ability to write clearly, concisely, and logically
    • Very strong organizational, deductive reasoning and analytical skills to effectively multi-task and prioritize workflow in a high-volume environment ability to work well independently, as well as, part of a team to achieve department/group goals.
    • Process improvement planning and implementation skills
    • Ability to work in a high volume and time sensitive environment.
    • Well versed with regulatory and investor guidelines and keeps current with all Federal, State, industry specific and departmental policies.
    • Research skills and technical understanding of loan servicing
    • Ability to work well with all levels of management and staff  

     

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 

    • High school Diploma required
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • Experience in mortgage acquisition/loan servicing or in a related area preferred
    • Knowledge of commonly used terminology, mortgage documents, concepts, practices, and procedures within the mortgage industry

     

     

    MACHINES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE:

    • PC computer with Windows operating system, facsimile, photocopier
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Proficiency in MSP, subject matter expert preferred
    • Familiarity and working knowledge of databases and corporate loan servicing systems.
