    The Loan Audit Manager will perform multiple functions within the loan boarding audit platform. Areas of focus include the re-auditing of newly acquired loans and reconciling of corporate and escrow advances from newly acquired loans performed by Vendor according to our policy/procedures. Performance of all duties must be in accordance with Rushmore policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations.           




    • Manages the offshore Nexval auditors and onshore processors in loan boarding audit, ensuring that loans are audited correctly and within the SLA set.
    • Provides Senior Management with weekly reporting on the loan boarding audit production.
    • Works with offshore to audit newly acquired loans.
    • Fields offshore auditor’s questions/escalations and responding in a timely manner.
    • Researches and resolves variances in loan discrepancies after loan boarding.
    • Leads the reconciliation of all recoverable corporate and escrow advances on newly acquired loans.
    • Performs and heads quality checks of loan boarding audits and corporate and escrow reconciliations.
    • Completes a weekly Re-QC of 10% audited loans (using any recurring findings for training purposes).
    • Works with records management and client relations to obtain needed documents to service the loan accurately.
    • Maintains monthly investor reporting and joins meetings with investors as needed to report audit findings.
    • Analyzes offshores findings in loan boarding errors and accurately updating the servicing platform.
    • Reports loan level issues identified during the review process to the business units.
    • Maintains/updates policies and procedures with all additions/enhancements and trains offshore team on process implementations.
    • All other duties as assigned.





    • In-depth knowledge of Black Knight’s Mortgage Servicing Package (MSP).
    • Comprehensive understanding of various special products, including ARMs, Bi-Weekly, Balloons, Daily Simple Interest, Interest Only, Dual Amortization, Negative Amortization and Payment Option loans.
    • Extensive experience with different types of loan modifications.
    • Excellent verbal and written skills, including ability to write clearly, concisely, and logically.
    • Very strong organizational, deductive reasoning and analytical skills to effectively multi-task and prioritize workflow in a high-volume environment ability to work well independently, as well as, part of a team to achieve department/group goals.
    • Process improvement planning and implementation skills.
    • Ability to work in a high volume and time sensitive environment.
    • Well versed with regulatory and investor guidelines and keeps current with all Federal, State, industry specific and departmental policies.
    • Research skills and technical understanding of loan servicing.
    • Ability to work well with all levels of management and staff.





    • High School Diploma required.
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
    • 5+ years’ experience working in a residential servicing environment with a minimum of 3 years and an expert understanding of ARM loans, Loan Modifications and SCRA loans.
    • Knowledge of commonly used terminology, mortgage documents, concepts, practices, and procedures within the mortgage industry.





    • PC computer with Windows operating system, facsimile, photocopier
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
    • Proficiency in MSP, subject matter expert preferred
    • Familiarity and working knowledge of databases and corporate loan servicing systems.
