    Offshore Operations - Project 1

     

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Offshore Operations Intern will perform an evaluation of reporting for offshore operations. Learn how data is collected and where it is stored. Work with Analytics, vendors, and line of business to create a more efficient and effective reporting model. Identify opportunities to consolidate reporting, update metrics, and display information differently to more compactly and elegantly inform on offshore operations. Will involve review of KPIs, TATs, KPIs, and other key operational metrics such as headcount; spend information, attrition, and capacity utilization.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Review with the Offshore Mgmt. Team; the current MBR reporting tool and develop better way to gather data to present in PowerPoint (work with analytics)
    • Work with Offshore Vendors on gathering the monthly data for MBR reporting, with focus on systems used and solutions to extract/automate data into the centralized data repository
    • Develop a "Offshore Process KPI" platform to house all offshore process level data (work with IT)
    • Work with RLMS LOB on graphical representation and need for custom KPI reporting to better represent offshore headcount and spend as it relates to process volume

     

    Loan Boarding Audits - Project 2

     

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Loan Boarding Audits Intern will perform loan boarding audits and work with large upcoming servicing transfers.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Document Audits and Reconciliations completed as assigned
    • Develop enhanced management reporting for loan boarding audits
    • Analyze process steps and participate in audit re-engineering project
    • Revamp current procedures, letters and checklists associated with these processes
    • Perform other duties as assigned or required

    ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    • Proficient in analysis
    • Basic understanding of legal terms
    • Excellent Oral and Written Communication - ability to clearly convey ideas
    • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
    • Able to solve problems
    • Able to interpret regulatory guidelines
    • Experience or exposure to Quality Assurance or Quality Control process/methodology (a plus)

     

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    • Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree or recent grad
    • Interested in the Mortgage Industry

     

    MACHINES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE:

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
    • MSP experience preferred
