    Loan Administration - Project 1

     

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Loan Administration Intern will assist with Reporting, Workflow and Policies and Procedures updates. Revamp of current reports and creation of new reports for QA, management stats, investor reporting; also, need updates to be completed for P & Ps, letter review and changes.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Creation of new management reports
    • QA performance reports
    • Formatting of investor reports for insurance
    • Creating new policies and procedures for Tax, Insurance, Escrow Analysis and PMI for P & Ps

     

    Client Relations - Project 2

     

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Client Relations Intern will ensure no open items exist in the old West Wing environment and assign ownership to the responsible Client Relations Manager. Provide proof that all Acquisitions have an Acknowledgement Agreement for each respective boarding. Produce a workflow and checklist that identifies all responsibilities within the Client Relations Team for Acquisitions and Release, pre and post.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Reconcile and clean old West Wing open items that resulted from the conversion from Sonar. This will ensure all open items are accounted for and have ownership.
    • Confirm all 2017 & 2018 acquisitions have Acknowledgement Agreements to maintain contractual compliance. Intern will also develop a process for the client relations team and present a Power Point presentation to the Team outlining the new process and controls.
    • Construct a workflow process for all Acquisitions and Releases within the Client Relations Team. This will clearly define what is required from the Client Relations Managers vs. what the Loan Admin Boarding and Release teams perform.

    ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    • Compare data from servicing system to document imaging system                                                
    • Design report specifications for management dashboard 
    • Good writing skills, analytical skills to assess processes
    • Participate in audit re-engineering project
    • Provide exception details for any data integrity issues using Microsoft Excel and Outlook applications
    • Review and validate documents in imaging system for reconciliation purposes                                  
    • Review existing procedures, letters and checklist and make recommendations for changes

    Qualifications

     

     

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    • Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree or recent grad
    • Interested in the Mortgage Industry

     

    MACHINES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
    • MSP experience preferred
    • Advanced Excel skills required, Visio for flow charts is preferred
