    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Senior Investor Reporting Analyst position is responsible for preparing and reconciling monthly

    investor reports and remittances for scheduled/scheduled reporting. The position will process all cash movements and related general ledger entries along with responding to internal and external inquiries related to investor reporting.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Prepares and review monthly investor reports and remittances along with related cash movements and accounting entries in accordance with agreements.
    • Ensure that remittance wires are completed accurately and within required timelines
    • Research and resolve data issues, propose solutions for future system enhancements
    • Facilitate remittance related GL journal entries and reconcile custodial accounts as well as resolve GL and bank related reconciliation items.
    • Assist on projects relating to enhancements to internal reporting system.
    • Maintain and enhance procedures and controls within the monthly process.
    • Assist with internal and external audits
    • Provide training and mentoring to Investor Reporting Analysts
    • Research variances and open items identified through the reconciliation process
    • Ensure that remittance wires are completed accurately and within required timelines
    • Perform all other duties.

    Qualifications

    ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    • Recent Loan Servicing experience and knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices is required.
    • Highly proficient in Excel and familiar with commonly used business software.
    • Should possess good overall mathematical skills.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills necessary
    • Must be capable of handling diverse duties and changing deadlines
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and shift priorities as appropriate in order to meet reporting deadlines and maintain reporting accuracy and analysis abilities with strong attention to detail.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
    • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively interface with external clients and internal business partners.
    • Excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills with proven ability to work effectively in a variety of situations

     

     

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field required
    • Two (+) years' experience in a loan servicing accounting/finance department
    • MSP experience required
    • Navision GL experience preferred 

     

     

    MACHINES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE:

    • Excellent PC skills with strong focus in MSP, and Navision preferred
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Access) Advanced Excel knowledge including pivot tables & V-lookups.
