Overview

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Pre-Foreclosure Supervisor is responsible for oversight of the production of pre-foreclosure notices and foreclosure review packages. This includes managing the production of pre-foreclosure letters, certification of the accuracy and integrity of documents required for referral, and packaging documents for foreclosure review and referral. This position will also work with the legal, compliance, vendors and other default departments to insure the most up to date information regarding state specific requirements and CFPB requirements for pre-foreclosure notices.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Prepares and/or manages the production of pre-foreclosure letters
  • Reviews and certifies documents required for foreclosure referral
  • Reviews collateral and data audit exceptions
  • Prepares and/or manages the production of foreclosure referral packages
  • Tracks data and produces reports
  • Participates in FC Workgroup recommendations and processes
  • Manages the oversight of outsourced resources and training
  • Develops necessary reporting regarding eligibility requirements for state compliance
  • Coordinates information for companywide compliance on pre-foreclosure activity
  • Performs other tasks as required by management
  • Maintains confidentiality of all organizational records
  • Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

 

  • Assertive and able to make decisions independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail orientation with strong organizational skills
  • Strong creative problem solving skills and results orientation

 

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • High School Diploma required
  • 2 years consumer mortgage foreclosure or loss mitigation experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of the default life cycle

  

 

MACHINES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE:

 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Working knowledge of MERS, LPS desktop, and MSP preferred/required
  • Ability to create presentations and provide demonstrations of systems
