Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The VP of Servicing Programs is responsible for working with executives, operations management, and the business units to optimize operational and financial performance in Loan Servicing through process improvement and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Managing and facilitating key strategic projects in accordance with business objectives
  • Responding to identified needs and proactively providing strategic guidance to loan servicing operations by identifying infrastructure enhancements and controls, process improvements related to quality, compliance, and productivity.
  • Providing solutions that may be related to process redesign, IT enhancements and automation, outsourcing, and offshoring.
  • Lead a staff of solution managers.
  • Planning, governance and oversight of successful delivery of designated projects and initiatives
  • Planning the multiple implementation strategies and monitoring progress
  • Manage risks and issues and takes corrective actions
  • Provide effective leadership to staff in order to achieve results
  • Work directly with senior management in servicing operations to develop support their objectives
  • Lead and control deadlines, budgets and activities related to the designated initiatives
  • Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects and their interdependencies
  • Manage direct/indirect resources across projects
  • Manage stakeholder communication
  • Coordinate cross-project activities
  • Apply change management protocols in order to achieve optimal implementation results
  • Manage program documentation
  • Other projects/tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

 

  • Proven Solution Manager
  • Highly disciplined, organized and detail-oriented
  • Possess both a broad, strategic view of operations and ability to focus on the details
  • Ability to work in chaotic, fast moving environment with quick response times, keeping pace with the business, addressing time-sensitive client demands
  • Very strong work ethic; roll-up the sleeves attitude
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to clearly convey ideas
  • Strong command of word, excel and power point
  • Ability to interface and work well with all levels of management, peers and other departments; must be collaborative
  • Sound critical thinking
  • Excellent and innovative problem-solving ability
  • Strong bent towards process-improvement and quality

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • High School diploma required
  • Minimum ten years in the mortgage industry with servicing knowledge (private label servicing a plus)
  • Understanding of compliance and regulations; CFPB knowledge desired
  • Advanced MSP knowledge required
  • Systems/business analysis exposure desired

 

 

 

MACHINES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE:

 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, Word, Visio, etc.) in the creation of spreadsheets, databases and various word processing formats and document templates.
