Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Quality Control Analyst – Servicing is responsible for conducting monthly QC audits of loan servicing to ensure business is in compliance with State and Federal Regulations, agencies requirements and internal policies and procedures in the Residential Servicing.   Perform all duties in accordance with Rushmore policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations.

 

   

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Must be knowledgeable in FHA, VA, FNMA and FHLMC guidelines and Default Reporting including Collections, Loss Mitigation, Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Claims, Charge Offs, Escrow – Tax and Insurance administration and Investor Accounting
  • Meet or exceed customer service expectations as defined by the company.
  • Conduct Target Audits on areas to identify potential gaps.
  • Analyze regular and loan level data, summarize the results, suggest resolution, and assist with implementation and follow up when appropriate.
  • Communicate audit findings to VP, QC and Senior Management.
  • Participate in the review and development of new and/or revisions to Quality Control policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

 

  • Extensive and current knowledge in multi-state and federal regulations relative to Loan Servicing.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain and perform with a high degree of confidentiality
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple assignments with minimal supervision while meeting department performance measures.
  • Ability to organize and coordinate projects for timely delivery
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skill

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma required
  • BA/BS in Business Administration/Finance preferred or equivalent mortgage banking operations knowledge
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mortgage banking or mortgage servicing with emphasis in Quality Control
  • Prior experience working with Loan Servicing Systems, particularly LPS

 

MACHINES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • PC computer with Windows operating system, facsimile, photocopier
  • Mavent, Cogent and other quality control software used by Rushmore compliance staff
  • Familiarity and working knowledge of databases and corporate loan servicing systems.
