Overview

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

The REO Asset Manager oversees the real estate owned property from acquisition to receipt of funds from the sale. Ensures pre-marketing timelines are met in accordance with tasks specific to the Real Estate Owned process within the organization.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Management of REO assets (Listings, Pre-marketing, Evictions, Offers and Closings)
  • Reviews old File Inventories
  • Responsible for sending Offer Approvals to Senior Management/Investors
  • Responsible for monthly reviews and recommends as pricing reductions as necessary.
  • Review and Approves LP and FMV prior to listings
  • Review and Approves Bids Review
  • Review Delinquent Taxes
  • Responsible for assigning listing agents and closing offices
  • Maintains Listing agents
  • Reviews Addendums for signatures
  • Coordinate with eviction department for review and Offer Cash for Keys
  • Performs other duties or projects as requested by manager

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Ability to review Title Commitment for Title Issues
  • Ability to accomplish tasks and processes accurately and completely.
  • Ability to observe, monitors, collects, and record data.
  • Ability to assess the accuracy, validity and integrity of the data.
  • Ability to identify problems, determines possible solutions, and actively works to resolve the issues.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to remain flexible to meet constantly changing and sometimes opposing demands.
  • The ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and Internet Explorer related to job tasks.

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • High School Diploma required
  • Real Estate license desirable but not required

 

MACHINES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
